The South African Social Security Agency (Sassa) have revealed the dates for Sassa payment dates when social grant beneficiaries will receive their grants in 2024. These Sassa grant payment dates enable beneficiaries to effectively plan for when they will receive their money every month.
Sassa distributes permanent grants at the beginning of each month. These Sassa grant payment dates are for permanent grants and does not include the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) grant.
Here are the Sassa grant payment dates for 2024 which have been released so far.

Its important to note that Sassa grant payment department does not pay grants on public holidays or weekends. This essentially means that if the second day of the month is on a weekend or public holiday, the grant will be paid on the next weekday, as per the payment schedule.
Grant beneficiaries who require financial assistance can collect their Sassa grants at several different payment points. These payment points include ATMs and retail stores such as Pick n Pay, Checkers, Shoprite and Boxer.
