SASSA New SRD R350 Grant Appeals Website
In order to help 10 million people who qualify for SRD R350 every month , Sassa has Launch a new separate website.
Remember you must be unemployed individual between 18 and 59 years old among other rules to receive this R350 grant from the South African government.
The R350 grant is distributed by the South African Social Security Agency (Sassa). To apply for the grant, applicants must apply online. They will need their Identification (ID) numbers and a working cell phone number to apply.
Applicants must also meet all the qualifying criteria for the R350. Unsuccessful applicants have the right to appeal their rejection status.
Sassa’s Brenton van Vrede revealed that there is a new website that will be used for R350 grant appeals. The website will only be activated on Monday 27 June 2022.
Van Vrede explained that the new appeal’s website will be run through the Independent Appeals Tribunal. The tribunal will work independently of Sassa. The tribunal will work to verify information regarding Sassa’s determination to reject your R350 grant application.
The new website where clients can submit R350 grant appeals is srd.dsd.gov.za. The new system for appeals only applies to rejected R350 grant applications from April 2022 onwards. Old R350 grant appeals are being processed by Sassa
Clients will be required to have a valid ID and Cell Phone number to access the new R350 grant appeal’s website. They will also need to submit an appeal for every month that their R350 grant application was rejected.
Clients will also need an internet connection and data to lodge an appeal. No appeals will be done via WhatsApp, cell phones or any other means of communication.
The tribunal said clients will be required to submit an appeal as soon as possible so that the client can receive a decision from the tribunal within 90 days.
