SASSA starts paying out its grant clients on the second of the Month , however they do not pay grants on weekends. As usual , the first grant to be paid will be the Older persons grant ,then the disability grant and then comes the child grant.
If you’re a beneficiary of the SASSA SRD R350 grant , please note that the payment dates are not fixed and normally these grant payment dates are arranged by the last digit of your South African ID numbers.
Where to collect SASSA grant payments
SASSA said your SASSA card is also a debit card and just just like any debit card you can use it to withdraw you money at any bank ATMs and at the till point of the retail shops like

- Shoprite
- Pick n Pay
- Checkers

SASSA payment dates for the month of September are as follow:
- Old Persons grant : Friday 02 September 2022
- Disability Grant : Monday 05 September 2022
- Child support grant : Tuesday 06 September 2022
